How I Helped Dodge Launch Their EV Charger With an Interactive Virtual Experience

February 2026 • Garrett Reed

When people think of what I do, they usually picture Instagram posts, car show walk-arounds, and YouTube build series. And that's a big part of it. But one of the projects I'm most proud of shows a completely different side of the value I bring to brands — something that goes way beyond a social media feed.

Dodge tapped me to be the virtual host for their new interactive 360-degree experience built around the 2025 Charger lineup. This wasn't a quick social post or a sponsored story — it was a full-blown mobile platform where I guided viewers through every detail of the vehicle, from the Charger Daytona EV models to the gas-powered SIXPACK. The program covered the complete range: the Daytona Scat Pack, the Daytona R/T, the four-door Daytona, and the upcoming SIXPACK — all in one interactive experience.

A Hands-On, Interactive Experience

This wasn't a passive video. Users could actually interact with the vehicle in real time — choosing from eight exterior colors (including the newly launched Bludicrous), swapping between interior themes, and exploring different package configurations. The experience included animated demonstrations where viewers could open and close doors, activate the interior lighting, fold the rear seats, and toggle the LED headlamps — all while I walked them through what made each feature matter.

The content was organized around three pillars: performance, technology, and design. Each section went deep into the specifics, with me breaking down the details in a way that was accessible whether you were a lifelong Mopar enthusiast or someone considering their first EV.

More Than Content — A Business Tool

This is where the real value shows up. The virtual program served two critical business functions for Dodge. First, it was deployed as a dealer training tool. Salespeople across the country used the program to learn the ins and outs of the new Charger lineup — vehicles that represented a massive shift for the brand. Having a knowledgeable, engaging virtual host walk them through the details meant every member of a sales team could get up to speed quickly and consistently, without flying everyone to a single training event.

Second, the program was deployed at dealership showrooms, auto shows, NHRA races, Radford Racing School, and Dodge events throughout 2025. Attendees could scan a QR code placed alongside the vehicle, and it would launch the full interactive experience right on their phone. That meant even when a sales rep was busy with another customer or the event floor was packed, every person who walked up to the car had instant access to a guided, high-quality walkthrough — complete with color customization, animated feature demos, and me explaining what makes the car special.

Why This Matters for Your Brand

This kind of project is a perfect example of what happens when you pair automotive expertise with real hosting and presentation skills. I'm not reading a teleprompter — I understand the cars, I understand the audience, and I know how to communicate technical features in a way that builds excitement and trust. Dodge didn't need an actor. They needed someone who could talk about an 800-volt electrical architecture and make it exciting — because I actually care about this stuff and my audience knows it.

For brands looking to go beyond a standard ad campaign, this is the kind of work that creates real, measurable value across multiple touchpoints:

Dealer Enablement

Give your entire sales force consistent, on-demand product training they can access anywhere — no travel, no scheduling headaches.

Event Activation

Turn static vehicle displays into interactive, QR-driven experiences at auto shows, dealerships, and racing events.

Product Customization

Let customers build their ideal vehicle on-screen — colors, interiors, packages — guided by an expert host.

Authentic Expertise

A host who actually knows the automotive world and can break down performance, technology, and design with genuine credibility.

The Bigger Picture

The automotive industry is changing fast. EVs are reshaping the landscape, and brands need partners who can communicate what makes their vehicles special in ways that resonate with both the enthusiast community and the everyday consumer. The Charger is one of the most iconic nameplates in American automotive history, and helping Dodge introduce its next chapter — across both electric and gas-powered models — was exactly the kind of project that shows what's possible when brands think bigger than a sponsored post.

Whether it's a virtual program like this Dodge project, a social media campaign reaching 2.4 million followers, or on-the-ground hosting at SEMA — I bring the same thing every time: real knowledge, real energy, and a genuine connection to the automotive world. That's what separates this work from hiring an actor or a generic marketing agency. When I talk about a car, people believe it — because they've watched me build them, break them, and fix them again for over a decade.
